Canadian ACMG guide Sara Hueniken has just climbed Northwest Passage M11 in Bozeman, Montana. This is Hueniken’s second M11 route (she had recently climbed Neolithic M11 at Haffner Creek) making her the only North American woman to climb this grade. Her ascent of Northwest Passage comes just after her recent second place finish at the Bozeman Ice Breaker Competition.

When asked about how she felt bagging her second M11 and finishing second at the ice comp, Hueniken said, “I was psyched, I guess it wasn’t a total fluke!”
