Canadian national Ice Climbing Team member Gord McArthur has repeated Musashi, the classic M12 Rockies testpiece in the Cineplex Cave.

“I had been to the end of the roof a bunch of times, but was never able to finish up the face of the cave on the ice section. Felt good to finally complete the entire thing,” says McArthur.

McArthur also notes that ACMG guide Sarah Hueniken is close to sending Musashi.

“She’s only a few moves from the lip of the cave. Although the exit is pretty challenging, I expect she’ll get ‘er done,” says McArthur.

Finally, inspired by the recent Gripped article about the Rockies top-ten mixed routes, John Freeman is attempting to the list of climbs. He currently has to complete just three more routes to tick the list.
