• Photoshop EPS, TIFF, (CMYK only for color, bitmap or grayscale for black & white).
• Illustrator EPS files - Fonts must be converted to “outlines” or “paths”.

Proof Reading:
Please proof your text carefully. We are not responsible for misspellings or inaccuracies in your ad. It is important that your ad arrives ready to output.

Film Specs:
Film must be submitted as right reading, emulsion side down, negatives, with a line screen maximum of 150 lpi.

Special Instructions:
• Make sure your Company name is in the name of the file, don't call it (Gripped ad).
• Name your logo so it relates to your ad, not just “logo”.
• Please Double check you files.
• Trapping is your responsibility please make sure that you file is manually trapped, otherwise quark defaults fill be used.
• No Pantone colours, make sure that you convert all yor colours to CMYK
• No IBM Fonts


Advertising Terms and Conditions

Terms
A. All advertisements must be prepaid unless advertiser or agency has established credit prior to printing of any ad.
B. Failure to submit full payment by due date causes automatic can-cellation of open credit. Reestablishment of open credit requires payment of all past due amounts, including service charges applied to all delinquent balances, plus prepayment of next ad.

Conditions
A. Cancellations made by advertiser or its agency are not acceptable after the closing date.
B. Verbal commitments to advertise are legally binding. No cancellations after the space closing date for each issue. Publisher reserves the right to charge the advertiser for space reserved if ad or necessary ad materials are not received by materials deadline.
C. Positioning of advertisements is at the discretion of the Publisher except where specific preferred positions are covered by written commitment by the Publisher.
D. Publisher shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, mechanical or colour problems involving ads that require modifications of any kind, which are received after the closing date.
E. Advertiser and advertising agency assume liability for all content (including text and artwork) of advertisements printed and also assume responsibility for any claims arising therefrom made against the Publisher and agree to indemnify the Publisher against any expense or loss suffered by reason of such claim.
F. All content (including pricing) in advertisements are subject to the Publisher's approval. Publisher reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertisement, insertion order, space reservation, or position commitment at any time, without notification to advertiser.
G. Publisher is not responsible for advertising reproductions not con-forming to specifications.
H. Insertion orders for a specific issue received after the closing date for that issue will not be guaranteed placement but will be handled on a first come first served basis. These ads are non-cancelable.
I. Advertisers who cancel contract for multiple insertion rates will be pro-rated to the next applicable rate.
J. All artwork and film will be held for one year and then destroyed, unless otherwise requested in writing 90 days after the last insertion. K. Publisher shall not be liable for any costs or damages if for any reason it fails to publish an advertisement.
L. Publisher is not liable for delays in delivery and/or non-delivery in the event of an Act of God, action by any government or quasi-governmental entity, fire, flood, insurrection, riot, explosion, embargo, strikes whether legal or illegal, labour or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slowdown, or any condition beyond the control of Publisher affecting production or delivery in any manner.
M. As used in the section entitled "Advertising Terms and Conditions", the term "publisher" shall refer to Gripped: The Climbing Magazine.
