Boulder/Speed World Cup 2017: Canadians Heading to Chongqing

The second stage of the 2017 IFSC Bouldering World Cup will be held in Chongqing, China. The event will also be the first stop of the 2017 Speed World Cup. Over 100 of the world’s best climbers will be at the comp.

Canadians Sean McColl and Alannah Yip, recent National champions, will be competing in Bouldering and Speed. While Quebec climber Seb Lazure and B.C.-based Elan Jonas-McRae will be competing in Bouldering. For the full starting list visit here.

A short clip of Yip training in an American jersey, but rest assured she will be climbing for Team Canada. And one of McColl competing in Switzerland last week. Click on the clips to play.

Tick tock, tick tock ⏰ nearly time to go to Asia for the World Cups! Thanks for the jersey @sierrablaircoyl ?
