Canadians Advanced to Semis at Korea Ice World Cup

The 2017 Ice Climbing World Cup is taking place in Cheongsong, Korea this weekend for the tour’s third stop of the season. And for the third competition in a row, Noah Beek of B.C. and Ineke Rhebergen of Ontario advanced to Semis.

The two seem to be on the top of their game with strong finishes in Durango and Beijing. Beek’s climbing coach Gord McArthur missed Semis by one place. Beek and Rhebergen didn’t make the cut for Finals today, but their seasons are two of the best by any Canadian in the past few years. For full results, visit here. You can watch Semis below:
