Mika Hosoi Finishes Boulder Top-20 at Youth Worlds

Mika Hosoi from B.C. was one of few Canadians to advance to Semis at the IFSC Youth World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria.

In the end, she finished 18th among some of the strongest climbers in the world in the Juniors category.

The IFSC Youth World Championships take place every year and gather hundreds of the most elite sport climbing athletes between the ages of 14 and 19.

This year, there are 1,172 athlete registrations across all categories – representing 50 countries and five continents – and climbing will take place for 12 days on the brand-new walls of Kletterzentrum Innsbruck.
