Sean McColl Podiums at Wujiang World Cup

The second last IFSC Lead World Cup took place in Wujiang, China, this weekend.

Some of the world’s strongest comp climbers gathered in China for one of the biggest world cups of the year.

For the women, Jain Kim climbed six moves higher than the crux and finished in first place. The only other climber who made it past the crux was Belgium’s Anak Verhoeven who ended up in second. In third was Austria’s Jessica Pilz. Full results here.

For the men, crusher Adam Ondra seemed to flow through the final round and won his first World Cup of the year. In second place was the winner from Puurs, Slovenian Domen Skofic. Canadian Sean McColl finished the comp in third place. Full results here.

Canadian Elan Jones McCrae also competed and finished in am impressive 13th after just missing the cut-off for finals.
