Your Bouldering Team Canada For 2017 Has Been Announced

Climbing Escalade Canada (CEC) has announced the 13 members of the 2017 Canadian National Team for Open Bouldering. “All of these great athletes have represented Canada previously at international events and we look forward to cheering their efforts this season,” said CEC. The complete Bouldering National Teams are as follows:

Women’s Team

Elise Sethna
Alyssa Weber
Bronwen Karnis
Eva Thompson

Men’s Team

Sebastien Lazure
JJ Mah
Jason Holowach
Jesse Taplin
Nathan Smith
Julien Bourassa-Moreau

Every member of the team will have the opportunity to compete at all seven Bouldering World Cup events on the IFSC calendar. The CEC also invites every athlete who made the Top 20 in the Boulder National Open Ranking to contact the CEC if they are interested in competing as an Alternate team member at a specific World Cup event.
