If someone could get me a tenure-track position somewhere (either biology or geography would be fine, I straddle the disciplines nicely), I would gladly wear a black turtleneck.

Of course, if it’s near stacks of boulders, so much the better.  Paris would be good, but I don’t really speak french.  Maybe U Lethbridge (Frank slide, although it looks chossy), UBC (Squamish), U Canterbury (in Christchurch, New Zealand).

Any other suggestions on bouldering-friendly universities to get a job at?

bump- the problem with clarity is closure. we’re opening discourses up here people! in a post-modern context, the only possible narrative arc is the one into the abyss, so, alternatively the compelling stories either trail off or abruptly change topics.

pallets from asia can have some really interesting woods in them- the in-between pieces are usually hardwood, oak in n america but otherwise potentially exotic.
