Rockwood still remains closed indefinitely to rock climbing.

The OAC is preparing to make a presentation to the GRCA board somtime this Spring. 

Climbers’ cooperation in respecting this closure will significantly increase our chances of negotiating a favorable outcome. For more details please see the Ontario Access Coalition website at:

The weather this weekend is looking fantastic and I’m sure that throngs of people will be climbing at multiple crags this weekend.  Please do keep in mind that Rockwood is still CLOSED for climbing.  Please DO NOT CLIMB THERE! 

We at the OAC are still working to reopen the crag to climbing and anyone found climbing there will hamper further negotiations with the land managers. 

As well, we hope to see some of you out at the Earth Day Clean-Up at Rattlesnake.
