YO YO YO!!! Beyond The Crux climbing gym in Kelowna is hosting yet another Tour de Bloc. It will be held Novemebr 10, 2007 and here is the link to our website with all the information:

There will be a multimedia presentation by Sonnie Trotter held following the finals at Habitat (a restaurant for all ages).

Just a little Reminder Kids. IF you want a non-normal comp shirt, as in these suckers are gonna be off the grizzelwot for the boys and the girls, you have to register before the end of the Friday.

Deadline to get a shirt is November 2nd [this Friday, like I already said just a sec ago]

Hey guys. Just letting you know that today is the last day of pre-registration. So if you want a shirt, call or fax or email your info to me. We are at the gym Friday November 1st until 10pm pacific time.

You can still register right up until the day of the comp. It might be hard to get hold of us next Thursday and Friday cause we are gonna be busy getting routes up for you to climb on, but if you leave a message on the phone, we will call you back. Email is the best. I will be checking it a few times everyday. So just let me know your name, category and phone number and i will get you registered as soon as i get the info.

Hope to see you all on the 10th!!! Its gonna be a blast!!!

Thanks again for an amazing competition!!! Great problems, great vibe, the DJ rocked, and we all had an off-the-hook time.

Thanks to all the volunteers who put up with Mike, and made the event what it was.

Well it was an amazing day of craziness!!! Record number of competitors: 42 Youth and 76 Tour de Bloc = 118 in total of amazing climbers!!!

Thank you to everyone that helped out before during and after the comp! Thank you parents and kids and everyone for coming! You helped make the day VERY successful. One of the smoothest comps we have hosted yet. Looking forward to more comps to come!

Mike,

I have to agree with Knut (except pink is the new black).  Great comp, great problems and great after party.  Glad I made the drive from Calgary.  First time there but I’ll be back next year.

Thanks for the kind words!!! We really enjoy hosting comps!! Even though they are so much work, it is totally worth it to see everyone come together and have a blast at a comp!!
Thanks for putting up with our crazy ways! He had so much fun and now we have no voices left.
