Kim Czismazia (sp?) did Trench Warfare– isn’t that around the 12d/13a mark?

Albertans are a funny bunch (I was one).  Like Americans, they are all proud of their independence bla bla bla…but like the Yanks the same party (more or less) has been in power for about 50 years and everything they have is built on cheap oil.  And serious rape of environment which is an interesting thing to do considering oil/tar sands aren’t going to be around too much longer.

Then there is the weird stat that Albertans are the per-capita most generouos donors to charity of all Canadians (well they were, pre-boom).  Calgary is funny– it still feels really small-towny when I visit, and all those oil-rich  people do exactly what small-towners do when they hit it big:  they buy big flashy vehicles and lots of the women go for big blonde hairdos.

No she isn’t. Unless you consider Albertans to be American.

I couldn’t help noticing on the Gripped news that Jasmin Caton redpointed, Fallen Arches, 5.13a (good job Jasmin). It goes on to say that this could be the first traditional 5.13 route climbed by a Canadian woman. Is this true? Have there been no other 5.13 trad routes climbed by Canadian women?

Who is this other woman in Canmore who may have climbed a 5.13 trad route? Does anyone know?
