Sure you will K.  I’m confident that as usual you Calgarians will run South of the border so that you have a viable reason for not coming and competing in Edmonton.

For those of my friends in Calgary that do come down you have a place to stay, you’ll just need a sleeping bag and a sleeping pad (short on beds).  K, the suite is reserved for you unless you choose to stay at your brothers in which case I will happily offer it to P. Woods (he doesn’t require as much scotch).  First come first served.

Contact me @ luv2climb@hotmail.com if you need a place to stay.

PS - Nice work on the Team name K

Thank you for your offer Dan. I would like to reserve the VIP suite, with a mint on the pillow.

I’ll bring my own scotch.

If the Chateau de Archambault is booked solid,,,,,,,,,then the Kingo Palace has a vacancy for the week end of the Tour de you know what. One queen size up for grabs plus an able & willing chauffeur of Edmontons finer establishments serving a multitude of poisonous liquids.

See ya soon YO!!!

Haha, do to our room exchange agreement with The Rokne Waldorf, the suite is permanently reserved should he choose to be there.  If you’d like to stay with us I do have a Chi that is rather comfy, or you could stay at Casa Archambault with Mom and Dad should you really desire a true bed.  If Knut is coming down solo you may talk to him about relinquishing his hold on the suite, he is a better man to bribe with scotch (I prefer good vodka).  Excited you are all coming down, it’s gonna be good times.

PS - It’s Amal

Hey 780,

Thanks to everyone who put on a great comp.

  • A-frame for being the MC, setter, organiser, cheerleader and general great host.
  • Laurie for heading up and helping with the judging
  • Aaron, Lloyd, McCallum and anyone else who set those tasty taste problems
  • Teknik, MEC and the other sponsors
  • All the other volunteers who took scorecards, and helped A-frame pull of a fabulous comp.
  • Dan for getting us all into Halo for the afterparty.

And congrats to Pat (who knew he still cranked??) and Thirza for showing us how it’s all supposed to be done! Amazing climbing!

Thanks again.

Knut

P.S. If you’re ever staying in Edmonton, I recommend the Chateau Archambault - the service is excellent.
