So how’s Squamish this time of year? I’m sure April is still a bit on the wet side, but how about May?

Sincerely,

A Squamish n00b

All you need is a day or two of sunshine and it’s good. Doesn’t really matter what time of year it is. Decide on a temperature that you are comfortable climbing in (I don’t really like climbing in temps below 8 degrees) and go. If the weather is favorable then January can be good.

As long as the rain has stopped, wind is the real influencing factor.  Get some strong winds and it’ll dry in a few hours.  Blow wind, blow!

I’ve been out on the 30th and 22nd of March and the boulders which saw even a little sun were dry… Like the others said, wait for 2 days of sun and head up there. The forest will probably be wet until a good dry stretch of 3-4 days or more.
