Is there any routes on that mass of stone above the beach at Paul Lake near Kamloops, I think it’s called Gibralter Rock?

you mean THIS Gibralter rock. (see link)
…it’ll set the climbers scrambling for their bolt guns right away…

But no, never been there and not sure on the rock quality. http://www.flickr.com/photos/sbbcdreamer/917437641/in/set-72157601078230958/

Yes THAT Gibralter Rock. I grew up in Kamloops and camped there and hiked up that thing many times. Never heard of anyone doing routes on it, maybe the rock sucks?

Hugh Neave and the Interior ACC section were climbing 10 pitch routes (short pitches) there in the 60s-70s but Lyle left it out of Central BC Rock because it was 70s climbing ie. chossy scrambling
