Holly crap must i congratulate you little rippers once again! (I’m starting to sound like some groupie chick aren’t?)anyway…..

Nice climbing Will and Jason. Man when I lead that route (about 7years ago in full aid gear) I thought most of it would go free - not by me that was for sure.

I was skeptical about a few sections but obviously you found some very bold ways to avoid the sections (namely the copper heads on p2- one of which I carry around with me as a good luck charm - long story and the hooking on p1, ).

That route is so rad, and I can’t imagine whom will ever repeat it. Sounds pretty scary 13-R …..wonder if my first (and only) copper head is still pasted ontop the one that ripped out…. Hope the shots make a mag or movie?

Hey thanks Stone Mason.  I appreciate the support.

Just a plea to everyone not to nail on the Cannabis Wall.  I know this is pretty self-evident to most but it happens often in Yosemite. On the first pitch there’s a delicate crimp near the top of bolt ladder.  Try not to kick it off…

Cool.  Thanks.

OK, the first time I saw Will was after me having finally sent Yorkshire Gripper after many whips and much cussing.  I was feeling all proud of myself yadda yadda.  After I brought my partner up, this kid started up it.  I leaned off the belay and snapped some pics.  The kid climbed into the TCU-fingery crux completely wrong, and climbed back down and shook out from the handjam.  Then he climbed back into the crux again, and f**ked it up in a different way, so climbed down.  Third time he blasted through it, getting the onsight.  On the ground, it turned out his belayer was his Dad.  I said, wow, cool you’re teaching your son to climb! to which he responded with Well, really he’s teaching me things now.

Still got the photo, Chris.
Hope you’re doing good.
