I’d just like to give big props up to Jody, Katja, Luigi, James and everyone else involved in making Tour De Bloc stop at Climber’s Rock. You all did an amazing job hosting a great competition. Thanks to all of you, the volunteers, the judges, everyone. It was an awesome experience.

You are right dustin the comp was awesome!

You are right about jody, katja and luigi. I saw jody and katja put up the holds on the male final problem #3 with such ease while a climber was on problem 2 and another one was waiting to climb problem #3. Good job jody!

What really made it for me was to see Simon Villeneuve walk in at around 2 pm. Simon was once climbing in the Gatineau park near ottawa. We use to go out in the gatineau park for a morning session and then go eat a bag of chips with some pepsi, to finish with an evening session at coyote rock gym. good memories!

I agree with Dustin.  Amazing comp.  Thanks to everyone for their hard work.  It was great to see such a huge turnout.  I was particularly psyched about the number of women in the open category.  It is great to see so many women crush.

The women’s finals are still up, a couple of the men’s finals and a bunch of the problems from the qualifiers that were closer to the entrance of the gym.  They will all stay up for the next little bit.  There are also a bunch of new problems up so there is plenty to climb.
