Late breaking news - some very good, some not great.

At a meeting today BC Parks told us that they have secured money to build the overflow parking lot for another 90 cars …….. But it will not be ready until after the May long-weekend.

They also informed us that for safety reasons parking in the new lot will be limited to the existing 81 stalls, that people should not jam together, use the unmarked margins, or park anywhere on the road up from the paved turning circle at the end of Smythe Drive right to the parking lot.

81 spots is not going to do it for Easter - 3 days time.

Can you please have a look at that web-site, think hard about what you are going to do this weekend, and pass this on to any other climbers that you think might be coming a long way to get here and then find themselves confronted by pandemonium.
