imo, I like the new trails and clearing efforts, thanks to those involved.

To be clear I am not mad or dislike the people who put in a huge effort to clear out the trails.

It’ll look over-done for a season but will quickly grow in to less invasive visually.

I agree with this. But that is why the owner of the land at the Malamute did what he did. It will look like the highway and it will blend in with the highway. Better now then in a year or two is what he was thinking.

also, thanks to thosed involved with the scrubbing/ retro-fitting and new routing that’s been going on in the Bluffs, great to see the revival of the area.

This is a grey area for me (imo) None of that was needed. The new scars and lack of a complete retro-fitting of all needed stations and so fourth is what I was talking about. The area never has lost interest by anybody who climbs.
However the place looks way better today then it did 28yrs ago. Remember that wow. You could drive and park at Neat and Cool. But that 5.4 was still covered in dirt. No reason to retro a 5.4.

I just feel we need to have more imput. I talked with several people (locals) who had no idea that this was about to happen or who did the dirty deed. But considering the development that is about to happen on the top of the bluffs we need to do something to protect our play ground. I think everybody should join the S.A.S. to have a larger voice as a group.

Peace.

I wasn’t commenting on your post and only expressing my opinion, but if you feel the need to defend your position then go for it.

I did not mean to defend my post as such but to clear up any idea I am mad or pissed off at the trail builders.

I also wanted to mention about the development on top of the bluffs and the back side.
Peace
