Looking for info on how ‘4/5 year old friendly’ the base of the climbs in Haines Creek are… scree, boulder fields, drop offs, flat, slopping, bug infested…? If any one could let me know I would appreciate it, we are really wanting to check it out while we are up there in a couple of weeks.http://www.gripped.com/forum/skins/Standard/button_submit.gif

If it is anything like Cougar Canyon in Vernon it will be fine.

Thanks in advance.

It’s probably more kid-friendly than Cougar, quick approach via road, good views, no drop-offs and I’ve never found the bugs that bad.  Great rock and fun routes.

Thanks, It sounds perfect.

Now if only I can find the guide… every where I’ve called is sold out. Does anyone know who the author is and how to get ahold of him or her? I’m hoping they have more copies or a PDF version… anything Presentational Image
