Don S is quite right, please be sensitive about addressing any negative issues you have about people on this site. Open personal attacks won’t be tolerated.

Trad– Don’s right on this one.  Stupid trash talk and personal attacks are unnecessary and unproductive.  If somebody doesn’t like Matt, they can say it to his face, rather than broadcasting bland generalisations.  It’s interesrting that the guy trashing Maddaloni doesn’t use his real name (and neither, I might add, do you).

If Gripped readers feel they need to hack me down then so be it. I stand next to what I’ve done and I dare anyone else to stand up for what they believe in too.

Its the way you all have behaved. A FA according to everybody gives that person the right to control the routes safety. Just because I change my mind (20yrs)later and would not mind a couple of bolts is my right if I have some right to begin with.

I hate all the FA sh!t talk. Times change. Retro bolting should also be off limits as well, unless they are placed on lead as the FA and if the route is old on sh!tty gear with real crap hammers with an old style hand drill.

Peace

Chris,

My name is Derek B I have way before you supported climbs and climbers.
I have built and designed gear and have given gear away to others who needed it. Just so they could climb.

I like almost everybody on this forum see no reason to display my name. I have placed my name to several other posts like now.

Whats your point about my name. At least I do not post under several names. You have done your fair share of trash talk in the past.

It’s interesrting that the guy trashing Maddaloni doesn’t use his real name (and neither, I might add, do you)

Chris Harihari (not your real name I might add) I am not trashing Matt at all. Grow up. I undertsood Warrens point did you?

I also feel this is a good place to bring climbing problems to light ..just like Matt did when he started this thread. I guess you forgot that part.

Chris, you added your name after I responded to your post about me.
