On Saturday November 14th 2009, the Calgary Climbing Centre will be hosting a Tour de Bloc Local Competition.

Categories for male/female will include Open, Recreational (divided by age groups) and complete Sanctioned Youth categories.

Everyone gets to have a blast and try our 45+ brand new problems and then after a quick break and early results, we get to watch the top 8 men and top 8 women compete in a wicked on-sight final.

The Calgary Climbing Centre is donating a big cash purse to the open category. The money will be divided between all finalists!!!!

Cost is 40+gst. Please register early; it helps us to organize a better competition. Day-of registrations will not be guaranteed…first come, first served.

Spectator fee is 10 . Competitors can watch Finals for free.  We will be selling beer and other drinks during the finals.

Just a note that the Youth portion of this comp is also SANCTIONED.  Please relay this information to the appropriate teams in your area.
