I personally did not appreciate the political opinions of whom I can only guess was a hippy on acid, writing in chaulk on the backside of the Grandwall Boulders sign.

Firstly, do you actually think climbers aren’t passively (in the least) aware of some of these topics - true or not? Flu shot? 9/11, come on gt off it…..

Secondly , most of us go to blow off steam, get strong and basically immerse ourselves in nature to forget about the rest of the world. (BP)

It dawned on me it could be non - climber related, hopefully. It could be some redneck Squamish folk mocking bouldering. It read something like (in giant letters):

“911 was an inside job,
flu shots are poison,
say no to ’some, implant chip?”

Like what is that? Am I going bouldering or in the sequel to 12 monkeys?
