New Grivel Stealth Helmet is Light and Sleek

In this short video, Hervé Barmasse presents the new helmet by Grivel called The Stealth. Made with a polycarbonate shell that is co-moulded on a layer of expanded injected foam to absorb impact, it only weighs 190 grams. The design provides excellent airflow to keep your head cool. One size (54-62) that can be adjusted to fit once the helmet is on and the adjustment system tucks into the helmet for compact storage.

The Stealth is newer version of the classic Air Tech that was popular when first introduced. Overall, The Stealth has a nice low volume and is comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The headlamp clips are not as good as some helmets designed for longer alpine missions, but this could be the best crag helmet of 2017.
