Ontario has some of Canada’s best climbing areas, from the world-class limestone at Lion’s Head to the remote McCrae Lake granite.

Below are 10 images, be sure to visit and follow the climbers and photographers for more Ontario action.

Vivian Tran (@vvn_tran) finishes up the wide crack section of a new 5.10ish route next to Guido at #mountnemo, with the signature dead tree you'll have no choice but to greet. This route may challenge climbers new to #outdoorclimbing, but at the same time, can teach you much about outdoor features and techniques. On this route, you get a glimpse such as full laybacks with smearing, as well as some offwidth action. If you stick to the line left of the bolts and avoid the crack, you're in for a thin 5.11+ face route. Check our updates page for the details and get on it! #girlswhoclimb #outdoorwomen #womenwhoclimb #ontariorockclimbing #ontarioclimbing #climbing_pictures_of_instagram #climbing_is_my_passion #rockclimbing #climbingphotography #iloveclimbing #ontario #discoveron
