7 Canadians competing at the IFSC Climbing Worldcup Bouldering – Vail

Following shortly on the heels of the successful IFSC World Cup Toronto, the circuit heads to Vail, Colorado for the US stop of the circuit. This weekend, there is a seven strong team from Canada participating in the top tier event. For the men, the team will feature overall contender Sean McColl, CEC Adult co-ordinator John Bowles (one of the most experienced WC competitor from Canada) and World Cup rookie Marc Eveleigh.

For the women, the team is headed by the experienced Stacey Weldon, who will also do double duty as one of two team official. Weldon will be joined by former National Champion Elise Sethna, and team members Erica Carlson of Calgary and Marieta Akalski of Toronto.
