Alex Megos Repeats New V15 in Rocklands

Alex Megos continues his impressive year of first ascents and hard repeats with the second ascent of Nalle Hukkataival’s new V15 in Rocklands.

The route is called The Finnish Line and was established a few weeks ago. “Some climbs you remember for the rest of your life. First ascent of The Finnish Line at the Coop, it’s a new contender for the hardest in Rocklands”

Megos spent five days working on the hard line and noted after, “What a battle! Sometimes things just take a while but when they happen it’s even more rewarding… Maybe the best line of all time?!”

Megos has sent a number of hard problems in the past, including the third ascent of Paul Robinson’s Lucid Dreaming V15 in Bishop.

He has also climbed a handful of V14s, including the first ascent of Bad Boys for Life, Trainspotting and second ascent of Double Demerit.
