August 31, 2010 – Hazel and Marc-Andre Do 69

Twenty-one-year-old Hazel Findlay and 17-year-old Marc-Andre Leclerc have climbed 69, a 5.13b/c gear line in Murrin Park. Findlay and Leclerc bagged the route on the same day and Findlay’s ascent represents the first time 69 has been climbed by a woman. This difficult line was originally climbed by Andrew Boyd and is considered a must-tick for aspiring Squamish hard-men and women.  More details as they become available.
