In this episode of Basecamp from the Banff Centre, Gripped editor Brandon Pullan talks with Douglas about Mount Everest, the climbing world and more.

One of Douglas’ most loved books is about Tenzing Norgay and called Tenzing: Hero of Everest. It is the first full-length biography of the first man, with Sir Ed Hillary, to climb Everest.
