Big Stefan Glowacz Verdon Route Repeated

In 2012, Stefan Glowacz made the first ascent of Golden Shower in the Verdon Gorge, France. The four pitches break down to 5.12a, 5.14a, 514a and 5.13a. The route was bolted in 2005 by Glowacz and the late Kurt Albert, but went seven years before being climbed.

PlanetMountain.com reported that Austrians Tobias Bitschnau and Christoph Schranz sent the route and likely made the first and second repeats. A few days later, Barbara Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher. For the full report visit here.
