It seems that Adam Ondra is enjoying his climbing trip at the Red River Gorge. Yesterday Ondra flashed Southern Smoke Direct 5.15a at the Bob Marley crag. The route was first climbed by Adam Taylor who managed to unlock the V13 direct start. New beta however, now has the boulder problem clocking in at only V11. This slight reduction in the boulder problem’s difficulty and its location at the start of climb arguably makes Southern Smoke Direct one of the most flashable difficult routes in the world. There is also speculation that Ondra will downgrade the route to 5.14d, but even at this grade, this is an impressive flash ascent.
