Dani Fuertes Sends 15-Year Project in Spain

Dani Fuertes has made the first ascent of No Pain No Gain, a new 5.15a in Rodellar, Spain.

The climbing site 8a.nu reported that the 40-metre route has a 30-metre roof and has been a project for 15 years.

On social media, Fuertes noted, “And finally the day came! Very glad to get to the end of the process started when I was a kid with my good friend Alejandro Gimenez.

“We dreamed, visualized and bolted this fantastic line we thought we would never do. But finally we managed to close the project in the better way!”
