Dave Mai and His Skaha Bluffs Film Initiative

Dave Mai is an independent music and film producer from the Okanagan. He started to get into film making about the same time he discovered rock climbing. He became passionate about both disciplines very quickly. Mai has pitched a web series called “The Bluffs” to Telus Story Hive.

Story Hive is a community-powered funding program for emerging content creators in B.C. and Alberta. This series will feature the Skaha Bluffs in Penticton, one of Canada’s best sport climbing destinations. The web series will feature some well known locals and classic climbs, while exploring what it takes for a community to come together to keep the Bluffs sustainable for future use.
