History Made in Okanagan Bouldering Scene

In the fall of 2015, a group of Squamish climbers travelled to the Okanagan Boulderfields and sent a longtime project.

On Sept 29, 2015, Okanagan bouldering history was made when the iconic Nerf Roof line in the Boulderfields was sent.

The Nerf Roof is a prominent roof feature located in the upper section of the Boulderfields. The main trail walks underneath it on the way to many of the popular spots in the fields. As with other unsent lines, the legend builds as time passes.

In mid-September, a strong group Squamish climbers including Terry Paholek, Will Barnes and Conrad McFarlane visited the area.

After building up the landing, they projected the roof line for five days. Clayton Arnall of Testpiece Films was able to make it up on the fifth day to film Paholek make the first ascent.
