Laura Rogora is 15, Sent 5.14d at 14 and Just Onsighted 5.13c

In Feb., Laura Rogora became the first Italian woman to send 5.14d and she did it at 14 years old. She is the Italian Champion for Lead and Boulder competitions and she trains in a small gym outside Rome. “It took me about 15 to 20 tries in one-and-a-half months,” said Rogora. “I went to Sperlonga seven times. I didn’t do a specific training for this route because my purpose is training for competition.” This week, she sent Il traverso dei sogni 5.14b in Collevardo in one day. She then onsighted Tomorrowland 5.13c.
