Laura Rogora is 15 and Makes First Ascent of 5.14+

Laura Rogora has been on a sending spree lately with two 5.14b sends in a day in Spain two weeks ago and then a 5.14c send of Joe Blau. Less than a month into 2017 and she has made the first ascent of La Gasparata 5.14c/d at Callepardo in Italy.

The climbing database website 8a.nu states, “This means it could be the hardest first ascent ever established by a female.” On Instagram, Rogora wrote, “Today I sent a hard project in La Cueva: La Gasparata. The first time I tried it, it seemed very hard but today on my fourth go of the day everything has been perfect and I clipped the chain.”
