Laura Rogora is 14 and Sends 5.14d in Italy
Laura Rogora is only 14, but she has become the first Italian woman to climb 5.14d (9a).
According to Up-Climbing.com, it took Rogora around 20 attempts over two months to piece the hard route called Grandi Gesti together. She is a leading comp climber and is the current Italian Lead Champion.
Also worth noting is her many 5.13c onsights and she has two 5.14b sends on her 8a.nu card, one in 2014 and one in 2015.
