Leslie Timms Sends The Acid Crack in Joshua Tree

Leslie Timms has sent the trad test-piece The Acid Crack 5.12d in Joshua Tree. On Instagram, Timms wrote, “I’m high as a kite right now because I just sent The Acid Crack: the Bachar testpiece of JTree! Finally let go of fear, doubt, pressure, frustration and felt nothing but freedom.”

The thin finger crack was first climbed by John Bachar in 1982 on toprope and led by Bachar in 1983 on lead. Watch a send of the classic line below.
