Lucie Hrozova sends Baphomet, Hardest Mixed Route in Poland

Have you heard of Czech climber Lucie Hrozova? The 26-year-old is the strongest female mixed climber, anywhere.

In 2013, Hrozova became the first women to climb M14 when she sent Robert Jasper’s Ironman at Eptingen, Switzerland. On Feb. 8, 2014 she sent her second M14, Bafomet, Poland’s hardest mixed climb. Canadian Nathan Kutcher belayed her as she linked the moves on the 30-metre route which spans the Tatra Roof near the town of Zakopane, Poland.

Hrozova wrote on her Facebook page, “Sent Bafomet, M14, Vysoké Tatry [High Tatras,] Poland! Thanks to Nathan Kutcher for belaying and cheering me up. The hardest route in Poland, first woman ascent!”
