New 5.14d in Colorado is Stocking Stuffer

Matty Hong and Jon Cardwell have send a new 5.14d to Rifle, Colorado, called Stocking Stuffer.

The steep line climbs up the Bauhaus Wall and ties together the 1990s Tommy Caldwell 5.14b called Tomfoolery with the wild Stockboy’s Revenge 5.14b.

The two strong climbers are added a few metres of new climbing between the two with a V11 crux.

There are a number of other hard lines at Riffle, including Girl Talk 5.14c, Waka Flocka Flame 5.14c, Planet Garbage 5.14d, Shadow Boxing 5.14d, Fat Camp 5.14d and Bad Girls Club 5.14d.

Rifle has some of the best limestone sport climbing in America, especially harder routes. Conditions are good from May to September and the area is busy every weekend.
