New Hard Ontario Sport Route at Metcalfe Rock

Leslie Timms of Ontario has reported about a new 5.11d at Metcalfe Rock on the Niagara Escarpment. The hard route climbs between Split Image and Escalating Tension and follows a bold and beautiful white face to the top of the cliff. It was bolted by Dave Zuly and Kyle Thomas and is called Showered with Gifts. “It was an epic battle for the first Aascent and despite Zuly’s best efforts to pull me off the wall, I flashed it for the win,” said Timms.
