New Route on Wild Basalt Wall in Cordillera Huayhuash of Peru

The French team of Dimitry Munoz, Cyril Duchene, Antoine Bletton and Arnaud Bayol sent their new 40-metre El Juego Sumando 5.12c on Puscanturpa Este of the Cordillera Huayhuash in Peru. The route was established over a number of days and sent after the first ascent. It has not been climbed in a push. The big wall is made of columnar basalt and has overhanging crack systems that rise above surrounding glaciers.
