New Squamish Route at Murrin is 5.13b Sport

Stu Smith has sent a new route at Altamont crag in Murrin Park near Squamish. The difficult route is called 150 Year of Genocide and goes at 5.13b.

“The route has powerful and desperate climbing up a thin seam,” said Smith. “Thanks Chris Small for pointing me to this line and Nicole Deuchar as always for belaying me. The top of the route was cut off out of frame, but here is the meat of it, a neat route with crazy moves.”
