New Wadi Rum Route by Calum Muskett and Dan McManus
Calum Muskett and Dan McManus have sent a new four-pitch 5.13 on a wall in Barrah Canyon of Wadi Rum, Jordan. After their send, Muskett said, “Really happy to have managed to make the first ascent of a great new multi-pitch in Wadi Rum with Dan Mcmanus. After a lot of searching around for holds we managed to find a way to link them together up an otherwise featureless wall.

In 2007, Canadians Ben Firth and Aaron Black were joined by American Heidi Wirtz and Chris Kalous for a trip to Wadi Rum. The team established a 400-metre line up one of the area’s tallest walls. Watch a clip of the film below.
