Pirmin Bertle is On Fire with New 5.15b

German climber Pirmin Bertle is at the top of his game and has climbed a new 5.15b.

After 150 attempts over 50 days, Bertle made the first ascent of Meoise 5.15b. The route links two of his previous routes called Chromosome Y and Chromosome X, which he made the first ascents of in only 75 minutes.

Last week, we reported that Bertle sent a new V16 in Switzerland, read about it here. He had previously sent a number of difficult 5.14s and a 5.15a.
