Sean McColl Sends in Arco During Rock Masters Visit

Canada’s top competition climber Sean McColl placed second at the Arco Rock Masters duel and stayed busy sending some stiff rock routes.

At the Arco crag, McColl sent Reini’s Vibes 5.14b, which took him a few attempts the day after the Rock Masters.

McColl also sent Il Muratore 5.13c and Super Maratona 5.14a, which only took two attempts.

In Calanques, France, McColl sent La Baume 5.13d and Le Denti 5.13b.

McColl just missed first place at the Rock Masters duel, for photos, see here. “Ondra won the final duel thanks to some clutch beta through the roof,” wrote McColl on Instagram. “He figured out how to climb it straight on instead of doing the 360.

“I was laughing and smiling the whole way down… I had to jump from the second-to-last hold in an attempt to beat him at the buzzer. Sadly, I came up just short, but definitely worth the try.”
