Widely recognized as Canada’s best female boulderer, Thomasina Pidgeon has been busy crushing the problems at Lincoln Lake, CO. Her most recent difficult send includes Honey Badger V11, a boulder problem that was upgraded after a hold broke. Pidgeon had previously fallen at the last move, but this time managed to stick the final sequence.
“I thought it was tough at the end,” said Pidgeon. “I was epic-ing on 14 moves. Yes, I’m not quite ready for the Red yet.”
Pidgeon will be visiting The Red River Gorge later this fall and sampling the area’s steep sport routes.
