Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival

North Vancouver – Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF) is thrilled to offer the VIMFF 2013 Fall Series with slide presentations and films. The Fall Series will take place at Centennial Theatre in North Vancouver and at the RIO Theatre in Vancouver on November 12-16, 2013, all shows start at 7:30pm (doors at 6:30pm). Tickets are $15 in advance, $17 at the door; Fall Series Packages available at $25 for 2 tix, $36 for 3 tickets, $47 for 4 tickets to different shows.

Thursday November 14, 7:30 pm (doors 6:30), Centennial Theatre
REEL ROCK is back again! Four brand new films to quench your thirst for climbing! Featuring worl-class climbers Yuji Hirayama, Daniel Woods, Hazel Findlay, Emily Harrington, Ueli Steck, Simone Moro and The Stone Masters.

Tim Cope brings his amazing live presentation and book tour about his truly incredible epic, three year journey on horseback through the Eurasian steppe from Mongolia to the Danube River in Hungary.

Fall Ski Show, presented by ARC’TERYX
Friday November 15, 7:30 pm (doors 6:30), Centennial Theatre
Join us for a night of deep powder, inspiring lines and face shots to get everyone in the mood for winter! Featuring presentations by ARC’TERYX ski athletes and brand new ski films for the season: Justin Lamoureux : The Backyard Project; Austin Ross; Film: ELEVATION

BC’s Endangered Wilderness – Past and Future
Saturday November 16, 7:30 pm (doors 6:30). Centennial Theatre
Life presentations and films reflecting BC’s natural treasures and threats we are all facing. Including: Shamentsut (Mandy Nahanee) opening prayer; Bonny Glambeck and Dan Lewis: Clayoquot Summer 20 Years After; Tamo Campos: Beyond Boarding; and STAND film.
