Vikki Weldon Sends Tom et Je Ris 5.14a in Verdon

Vikki Weldon has sent the difficult 40-metre Verdon classic Tom et Je Ris 5.14a. She joins Canadians Sean McColl and Mike Doyle, who sent it this month. Weldon spent a number of days working on the monster limestone line that is known for its esthetic tufas and colourful rock. This is Weldon’s fourth 5.14 after Eulogy in Maple Canyon, Utah, Los Humildes pa Casa in Oliana, Spain and Dinosaur Highway at Horne Lake, B.C. Wow! Today feels like a dream. 'Tom et Je Ris' went down, but not without a fight! Staring up at another 40m of climbing here after sticking the bottom crux for the first time.
