Watch Stefano Ghisolfi Send Jungle Boogie 5.15 in France

Italian climber Stefano Ghisolfi made the third ascent of Adam Ondra’s Jungle Boogie 5.15a in Céüse, France last October. The 23-year-old sent the burly line after 10 days of projecting.

“The right description of Jungle Boogie is: dam hard route,” Ghisolfi wrote on Instagram. “That’s why I’m really happy to have sticked the last crux on Sunday, but I’m sorry not to come back to this beautiful place until next year.”

The hard route was first climbed in 2012 by Ondra and repeated in 2015 by Sachi Amma. It climbs up near Realization/Biographie 5.15a at the popular crage.

Ghisolfi described Jungle Boogie, “It is much harder than Biographie, but totally different style,” on 8a.nu. This was his sixth 5.15a after Goldrake, Cornalba, La Moustache qui Fache, Demencia Senil and Lapsus 5.15b.
